Garlic Mashed Potatoes INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lb potatoes, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons butter or spread
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup bbq sauce
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheese, shredded
Garlic Mashed Potatoes INSTRUCTIONS
First of all cut potatoes and cook in boiling water until tender. Mix BBQ sauce with Vinegar.
And then drain potatoes, and place in large bowl with butter or spread and BBQ sauce mixture. Mix to desired consistency, then fold in garlic powder and cheese. Enjoy!
Other Options: Place potatoes in bakeware, sprinkle cheese on top and broil until cheese is browned and melted.
Add egg and place in a hot pan for 2 minutes then flip and cook for an additonal 2 minutes.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes INGREDIENTS :
  • 3 lbs Yukon gold potatoes
  • half and half
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg

First of all peel potatoes, halve and boil for 25 minutes. Do not cut up into little pieces as you will make the mashed potatoes watery.
And then rub skins of the garlic with olive oil. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Set aside.
Next is to drain potatoes and add enough half and half, while mashing, to get the consistency you want.
Squeeze the roasted and cooled garlic out of the skins into the mashed potatoes. Add egg and cheese, mixing rapidly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Good sea salt goes a long way for taste.
Serve promptly; don't let it sit around, as the cheese loses its stringy effect...Enjoy the garlic mashed potatoes !

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Ingredients

* 3 medium baking potatoes peeled and coarsely chopped
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 4 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
* 1/4 cup sour cream, at room temperature
* 1 teaspoon finely minced garlic
* 1 tablespoon (or more) whole milk, at room temperature or warmed
* Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Instructions

In a medium saucepan, cook the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain the potatoes and return them to the saucepan.

Add the butter, sour cream and garlic. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or the back of a fork until the ingredients are blended. Add the milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the potatoes are the desired consistency. Taste and add salt and pepper, if needed. The garlic mashed potatoes recipe is ready to serve...nice !

MAMA TERRI'S MASHED POTATOES WITH GARLIC
Garlic Mashed Potatoes INGREDIENTS
  • 4-5 large russet potatoes
  • 1 cube of unsalted butter
  • 1 8oz Philly cream cheese
  • 1 small container of heavy whipping cream
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika
Garlic Mashed Potatoes INSTRUCTIONS
On low heat, take 2 tablespoons of the butter and on low heat melt with the garlic. Keep it on low heat until the potatoes are done. (You will want the garlic to be soft so it incorporates into the potatoes easily) Peel and cut potatoes in to equal sized cubes. Cover with cold water.

Cook the potatoes over medium heat until they are fork tender (to avoid lumps, it is best to make sure they are all the same size). Do not overcook or they will be mushy.

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Using a potato masher add the rest of the butter, the cream cheese and smash together.

Using a mixer, add the melted butter and garlic whipping the potatoes while also adding whipping cream. Add whipping cream until the mixture is creamy and just the right consistency. You do not need gravy for this dish.

If you are not eating them right away, add a dab of butter to the top and sprinkle with paprika and keep in the over on low heat.

  • 2 heads garlic
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. Pareve milk, warmed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 1/2 lbs. new potatoes, cut into quarters
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 4 tbsp. parsley

Saute peeled and chopped garlic in butter for 15 minutes until tender. Blend in flour, remove from heat, add pareve milk and salt and pepper. Return to heat and boil for 1 minute. Puree the entire mixture and simmer for another minute.

Boil potatoes until tender. Drain potatoes and mash until well blended. Add 4 tablespoons butter and blend until smooth. Over low heat, beat in garlic mixture. Add parsley. Serves 6.

  • 9 oz. pared all purpose potatoes, cubed
  • 1/4 c. diced onion
  • 1 1/2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/4 c. evaporated skimmed milk
  • 2 tsp. butter
  • Dash white pepper

In 2 quart saucepan, bring 1 1/2 quarts water to a boil; add potatoes, onion and garlic and cook until potatoes are fork tender, 10 to 15 minutes. While potatoes are cooking, prepare milk mixture; in small non stick saucepan, combine milk, butter and pepper and cook over low heat until butter is melted. Keep warm over low heat.

Pour potato onion mixture through colander, discarding cooking liquid. Transfer potato onion mixture to large mixing bowl. Using mixer on low speed, mash potato onion mixture. Gradually increase speed to high; add milk mixture and continue beating until potatoes are light and fluffy.
